Over the last month, the outlook for UK dividend stocks has worsened considerably. In our review at the start of March, only a handful of FTSE 350 companies had cut their payouts. But dividend suspensions have now become a widespread precaution, even among financially-sound businesses. Banks and insurers have also come under regulatory pressure to suspend their payouts, leading to further cuts.
