The FTSE All Share has risen 13% in 2019 - not a bad performance considering the political turmoil that has continued to circle the markets. It hasn’t been an easy ride though. Here are five key lessons we’ve learnt from the markets this year.


1. The markets want Brexit over and done with

2019 has been yet another year marred by political controversy. We’ve had a leadership contest, a general election and a prorogue, all in the name of Brexit. The word deadline has lost all meaning.
