AIM’s star performer, and a business that made millions for early investors, has chosen to move to the main UK stock market - we will certainly be sad to see it go and question whether joining the dinosaurs is a positive move. Online fashion retailer ‘As Seen On Screen’ emerged from the flames of the dotcom bust in 2000 aiming to help consumers “Buy what you see on film and TV”. 

It arrived on AIM in October 2001 at a share price of 20p and market capitalisation of only £12.3m. Unfortunately, few seemed interested in its prospects and the shares swiftly fell back to 12p. Anyone brave enough to have taken a punt on the newcomer back then…
