The launch of the first commercially available driverless car will no doubt spark major fanfare. This US tech giant has managed to successfully launch autonomous plane technology, but is still operating under the radar.


While most of the tech world trips over itself to become the first company to launch a commercial driverless car, Garmin (US: GRMN) is going one better. Its autonomous technology is being used in software which can safely fly and land a plane.
