Shares in Walt Disney are down following its latest results, but look at the potential, its product line-up and an opportunity to diversify its theme park business into virtual. I learned two things this week. First, I learned that at the height of their fame, the Beatles were just like everybody else — they squabbled, they had egos, they cracked the kind of jokes you hear down the pub. Remove their musical gifts, and they were just like you and me. The other thing I learned is that the most recent quarter at Walt Disney wasn’t as good as markets expected, so shares fell.
