The latest iPhone release was met by a chorus of snores. The Apple faithful tried to sound excited, but it wasn't convincing. We reflect on Apple’s current positioning and the scope for growth.


Steve Jobs's daughter had a good laugh at Apple's expense. Eve Jobs posted, on Instagram, a picture of a man holding a shirt that looked just like the one he was already wearing. She quipped, "Me upgrading from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14 after Apple's announcement today."

Is that it, then? With Steve Jobs long and sadly departed, is Apple no longer an innovator?
