Total Produce, a leading fresh produce company and one of AIM’s larger companies has announced a whopping deal. It looks a fascinating transaction and with the McCann family directing things, having already cashed in big-time with the sale of Fyffes, Total Produce could be on to much bigger things.. 

Total Produce (AIM:TOT) is acquiring a 45% equity stake in Dole Food Company from US billionaire Mr. David H. Murdock for a cash consideration of US$300m.
