Bonmarche (AIM:BON) - encouraging results and 8% yield but the offering still looks tired!
The women's value retailer issued reassuring results and has been showing progress in a very tough market, but it still looks well behind the competition.Thankfully the stonking 8% dividend yield rewards some patience, although that will come under pressure if trading struggles. 

Interim results for the 26 week period ending 30 September 2017 saw revenue rise 5.0% to £97.8m with Like for Like sales growth of 4.3% boosted by online sales up 38.6%.

The financial fundamentals of this business look quite encouraging with profit before tax of £4.2m substantially up on the comparable period’s £2.0m, although those are miniscule margins for a clothing retailer so there isn’t much room to disappoint should the top line falter.…
