Vodafone Group: Underlying growth
Telecoms giant Vodafone Group (LON:VOD) released another reassuring set of results this week. Although group revenue fell by 2.3% to €21.4bn, this fall was due to the reduction in roaming revenue resulting from COVID-19 travel restrictions.
Excluding roaming, CEO Nick Read says that service revenue rose by 1.5% during the second quarter. The group's operational metrics certainly seem to suggest decent progress is being made.
