Fashion is big business in the UK: the value of the UK fashion industry is calculated to be £21 billion. So perhaps it isn’t surprising that clothing and footwear feature prominently in our spending habits.
AIM quoted boohoo.com has defined its target audience as teenagers and students and has captured this audience well. They have spent a lot of money on advertising and their site, clothes offering and price tag certainly does appeal to their target audience. However they are not the only company who appeal to this demographic, with plenty of newer creations attracting a growing customer base. We asked some young female buyers to assess the various offerings and offer their thoughts.
