Shares up 15%+ as AGM Statement reports increasing revenue visibility

We note that shares in one small software company are up strongly today (Friday 10 June) following a 15% rise yesterday. This follows the release of an AGM statement yesterday (9 June). The rise is somewhat surprising as this AGM statement was almost identical to the Chairman’s statement from the Company’s finals issued in March. However, the AGM statement did include one important piece of new information which seems to have excited investors.

Sopheon, a provider of software and services which helps organisations generate more revenues from new products, held its AGM yesterday (9 June). The Company released the Chairman’s statement from this AGM at 7am. This statement was almost a word for word copy of the Chairman’s statement from the Company’s March final results.
