Positive development for scan simulator company MedaPhor Group (AIM: MED)

MedaPhor Group and Inventive Medical Ltd, today announced a sales and marketing collaboration to extend across their respective direct sales regions, which include the UK, Europe and North America.

Both companies have developed and sell advanced simulation machines for teaching ultrasound technique. The objective was to bridge the gap between textbook learning and bedside practice for clinicians learning ultrasound. MedaPhor’s ScanTrainer, which was launched in 2010, currently offers four separate training areas; general medicine, gynaecology, obstetrics and emergency medicine. Inventive Medical’s HeartWorks system is the leading resource available for teaching cardiac anatomy, lung ultrasound and echocardiography. Both of the simulators were developed by leading…
