This provider of nifty technology to help wind turbines operate more efficiently has received another encouraging order. Elsewhere, there was an acquisition for a manufacturer of eyewear and reassurance from an unusual provider of alternative financing solutions, although we remain unconvinced by the business model of the last of these. Windar Photonics: looking up
Windar Photonics (AIM:WPHO), the technology group that has developed a cost efficient and innovative LiDAR wind sensor for use on electricity generating wind turbines, announced that it has received a second volume order from industry giant Vestas Wind Systems A/S under its global distribution agreement.
