KBC Advanced Technologies (AIM:KBC) – strategic relationship and significant contract award

T​he leading consultancy and software provider to the hydrocarbon industry has announced a joint collaboration agreement with Advisian, the independent consulting business line of WorleyParsons (WOR), the large Australia-based professional services company. This looks a very nice arrangement for the AIM quoted Group.

This utilises the strengths of each company and their affiliates to pursue projects involving consulting, software implementation, design and engineering services, initially for the oil and gas, refining and petrochemical business sectors. 

Of greater immediate significance, to get things going WorleyParsons’ Advisian has awarded KBC a global five year, US$4.36m technology contract for KBC’s Petro-SIMTM, MaximusTM and MultiflashTM software.
