Hydro International plc (AIM:HYD) – decent results and mildly encouraging outlook

​The leading provider of environmentally sustainable and innovative products for the control and treatment of water, which we commented on in February, has announced a decent set results for the year ended 31 December 2014.

Hydro is set up to provide value-added products and services to specialised segments within the wider water industry. The major market drivers for their business remains positive: urbanisation and population growth; environmental and water-related regulation; construction and infrastructure investment; climate change; and operational imperatives around energy efficiency and extended product life cycle requirements.

Adjusted profit before tax was up 19% to £1.9m (2013: £1.6m) following a strong second half of the year. Group order…
