AIM moves higher in March 2017 and welcomes a highly unusual offering
March proved to be another quiet month for IPOs on AIM but that didn’t stop the value of London’s growth market moving higher and continuing its outperformance of the boring old Main Market! There was only one genuine new arrival and a highly unusual readmission, both of which we cover in our latest Blog here.

At the end of March 2017 there were 967 companies on AIM with the total market value £88.78bn. This compares with 973 companies on AIM at the end of February 2017 when the market value was £86.8bn. There was a total of 8 departures and only 3 arrivals, only one of which was a genuine new arrival with the other 2 readmissions – London Stock Exchange stats appear to have lost a company somewhere!
