January AIM departures outweigh arrivals

A rough river

It was another torrid month for departures from AIM as private equity backed funds continued their acquisition spree


At the end of January 2020 there were 851 companies on AIM, with the total market value £104bn. This compares to 863 companies at the end of December 2019 when AIM’s market value was a similar amount. Ignoring reverse takeovers there was a single new arrival in the month and thirteen departures.
