October 2018 - AIM new arrivals and departures
October 2018 may have been another quiet month for new arrivals on AIM, but it came with the added distraction of a big market sell-off and an accounting fraud at one of the market's larger companies. Our Blog comments on the solitary newcomer!
At the end of October 2018 there were 928 companies on AIM, with the total market value of London’s growth market £102.4bn. This compares with 937 companies at the end of September 2018 when AIM’s market value was £115.1bn. Excluding readmissions and reverse takeovers, there was just one new arrival and 10 departures in October.
