Are EVs the new El Dorado?
Oddly, the backlash grows just as the case for electric vehicles seemed to have been made. Don't be fooled by the backlash, EVs are the future. But there are even bigger opportunities in spotting a bigger shift as we consider here.
Edgar Allan Poe wrote about El Dorado. He wrote about a knight looking for the city of gold, the mythical city in South America that drew explorers in search of a fortune. "And, as his strength Failed him at length, He met a pilgrim shadow— 'Shadow,' said he, 'Where can it be— This land of Eldorado?' 'Over the Mountains Of the Moon, Down the Valley of the Shadow, Ride, boldly ride,' The shade replied,— 'If you seek for Eldorado!'"
