Getech, the oil services business specialising in the provision of exploration data and geological exploration studies has seen its share price rise nearly 50% in 2012. Unusually for many AIM listed companies, the Group has been consistently profitable since flotation and offers a nice dividend

The company, which is as a spin-out from the University of Leeds, has acquired a vast database of global gravity and magnetic data since it started trading in 1986, with data from almost every country in the world!
