Dart Group (AIM:DTG) – shares continue to soar on growing demand, is there more to go for?

On the same day that easyjet impressed with its trading update, Dart Group, the AIM quoted airline, holiday and logistics group has issued a very positive AGM statement driving the shares to new highs. Given the strong share price performance of the past few years and the now punchy valuation some may be asking what’s left to go for, especially in the hazardous business environment of air travel and logistics.  

The Group has experienced strong summer 2015 trading in their Leisure Travel business with demand for package holiday products continuing to grow. The Group has also achieved higher airline ticket yields and load factors than in summer 2014 with early indications for winter 15/16 Leisure Travel bookings satisfactory.

Even Fowler Welch, the less appealing (to some) Distribution & Logistics business, currently trading ahead of last year.
