Audioboom (AIM: BOOM) user numbers look impressive, do we need to worry about monetisation yet?
The leading spoken-word audio on-demand mobile platform has issued an update on its key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Company’s third financial quarter from June to end-August. The numbers look highly encouraging but it remains unclear whether the spoken word can attract the desired advertising spend? Notwithstanding they should be able to find a way to monetise over 4 million users (and growing)!
766 new content channels were added during the quarter, resulting in a total of over 6,000 content channels at the period end.
