SigmaRoc: paid to travel rather than arrive? SigmaRoc (AIM:SRC), the previously named “specialist quarried materials group” has agreed to acquire certain European lime businesses from CRH, the giant diversified building materials business. It has also been given Call Options to acquire certain other assets. The total consideration payable by SigmaRoc for the lime businesses is €745m (c £645m) which is considerably greater than SigmaRoc’s current market capitalisation of £348m.
