Good Energy Group (LON:GOOD) is a UK based renewable energy company, based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Its business model can be split into four key areas: It purchases renewable electricity from a community of 1,600 independent UK generators. This is typically from local farms and sustainable businesses who generate their own power and sell Good Energy the excess. The Group incentivises people and businesses to generate their own electricity via Feed-in Tariffs (FiT) and their HomeGen scheme actually laid the foundations for the government’s FiT scheme.
