NIchols: plenty to ponderSoft drinks group Nichols (LON:NICL) issued a trading update for the 12 months to 31 December 2020. While its core Vimto brand achieved strong growth in the UK and its International business continued to perform well, progress was offset by declines in its UK Out of Home business due to the pandemic. Group revenue in the period fell 19.3% to £118.7m with ‘adjusted’ pre-tax profit for 2020 in line with its previous guidance from November – previous guidance was for adjusted profit before tax of between £11m and £13m, a whopping 66% decline on the prior year.…
