Renold: trading ahead, but where is the growth? Renold (AIM:RNO), the supplier of industrial chains and related power transmission products which was established by Hans Renold way back in 1879, announced that results for its financial year to the end of March are now expected to be “materially ahead” of current market expectations. These were previously for revenue of £244.3m and adjusted operating profit of £26.5m. The shares look terrific value on several levels, but we have our fears about certain aspects.
