There were strong results to start the week from a provider of mobile payment services and a manufacturer of infection prevention products covered here. The valuation of one looks distinctly more appealing to us, but both have significant potential with huge addressable markets.
Tristel: strong results but cautionTristel (LON: TSTL), the manufacturer of infection prevention and contamination control products, announced excellent interim results for the six months ending 31 December 2020. Revenue rose 15% to £16.8m, of which overseas sales were up 20% to £10m and represented 60% of total sales. While sales in China grew 33%, they remain very small at only £0.8m suggesting plenty of potential in such a vast market. Growth in the UK was a more modest 8% to £6.8m.
