Solid State (AIM: SOLI) interims not as bad as some were expecting, time to ignore MoJ contract

Having issued a profit warning back in October, interim results from the AIM listed supplier of specialist industrial/ruggedised computers and various electronic components, were probably not as dire as some were clearly expecting. If the banner MoJ contract can get back on track there could be a decent recovery story in this one.
Solid State plc is a group of companies providing specialist design-in and manufacturing services to those acquiring industrial/rugged computing products, battery power solutions, secure communications systems and electronic components for use in harsh environments. The Group serves niche markets in oil & gas production, medical, construction, security, military and field maintenance, acting as both a distributor to OEMs and bespoke manufacturer of specialist units to clients with complex requirements. - Financials Group revenue for the 6 months increased 28.5% to £22.02m (2014: £17.13m) due to first contributions from the MoJ Contract and from Ginsbury Electronics, which was acquired on 1…
