Inflationary tales As we enter the Jubilee holiday and with UK inflation touching 9%, brokers and analysts have been enthusiastically marking other anniversaries with an eye on inflation. Hargreaves Lansdown reminded us that it’s soon to be 40 years since the introduction of the 20pence coin, which entered circulation on 9 June 1982.
