- History Mind Gym (AIM:MIND), was founded by Octavius Black (full name, Octavius Orlando Irvine Casati Black) and Sebastian Bailey in June 2000, with the oversight of professor of psychology, Guy Claxton. This evolved into an Academic Board that now reviews only new content and oversees the integrity of the Mind Gym offer. Mind Gym’s initial product was the “90 minute workout”, first delivered to Deutsche Bank on 1 September 2000.
