Cake Box: bargain basement or growth constrained? Cake Box Holdings (AIM:CBOX), the specialist retailer of fresh cream cakes, announced results for the six months ending 30 September 2022. While revenue rose 2% to £16.8m, trading in the first half was against a very strong comparative period last year and impacted by exceptionally hot weather in the summer, with pre-tax profit falling 45% to £2.0m.
