July 2020: AIM arrivals and departures
AIM welcomes some newcomers in July, including a new gold exploration company
At the end of July 2020 there were 830 companies on AIM, with the total market value just over £99bn. This compares to 830 companies at the end of June 2020 when AIM’s market value was £97.5bn. There were three new arrivals in the month and three departures. July closed with 18 AIM companies valued at more than £1bn and six more valued at more than £800m. ASOS (LON:ASC) held on to the top spot with a valuation of £3.35bn, which has since climbed to £4.3bn, closely followed by Boohoo Group (LON:BOO), which is currently defending accusations of unsafe working conditions…
