Liontrust: £1.7 billion outflows highlights the problem for UK small caps The latest trading update from fund manager Liontrust Asset Management (AIM:LIO) tells you all you need to know about the struggles facing UK small cap investors. For the three months ended 31 December 2023 Liontrust reported net outflows of £1.7 billion. Allowing for investment performance, this resulted in Funds under Management of £27.8 billion at the year end (+0.6% in the quarter), which had fallen further to £27.2 billion by 12 January 2024.
