Dart Group PLC – trading ahead and upgrades
The somewhat bizarre Dart Group which combines logistics and leisure travel has announced that underlying operating profit for the year ending 31 March 2015 will be ahead of current market expectations and broadly in line with last year (2014: £49.2m)
Dart Group PLC is a Leisure Travel and Distribution & Logistics group specialising in: - the operation of scheduled leisure flights by Jet2.com to the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and to European Leisure Cities; - the provision of ATOL protected package holidays by its tour operator Jet2holidays; and - the distribution, by Fowler Welch, of fresh produce, and temperature-controlled and ambient products on behalf of retailers, growers, importers and manufacturers throughout the United Kingdom.
