Dart Group PLC (AIM:DTG) – still soaring!
The Leisure Travel and Distribution & Logistics group, issued another highly positive trading update this time on trading for the first half of the financial year ending 31 March 2016.
Summer 2015 trading in their Leisure Travel business has been consistently strong with demand for package holidays continuing to grow with number of customers up 21% on the comparable period. However, their “leisure airline” (great term), Jet2.com, flew a total of 4.53m (2014: 4.62m) passengers in the six months to 30 September 2015, a slight decrease of 1.9% over the same period last year against a backdrop of considered seat capacity reductions.
