Ideagen (AIM: IDEA), the provider of compliance software for regulated industries, is acquiring a business called MailManager, at what, at first glance at least, appears to be a very mighty price. MailManager is an Outlook email management solution which helps businesses manage emails more efficiently and significantly improve control, collaboration and compliance. Its software is designed to integrate into clients' existing IT infrastructure to help file and search critical correspondence, to benefit productivity, ensure information visibility and accessibility, and mitigate risk. The upfront cash consideration is £26.4m, plus a deferred conditional earnout payment of up to £2.75m. For the year…
