Bargain hunt: is the worst over for Dart Group?
Shares in Dart Group, the leisure travel and distribution group, have had a torrid time in the face of the coronavirus. The operator of the UK’s 3rd largest airline could represent a cracking recovery play.
Dart Group’s (LON: DTG) primary business, Jet2holidays, is the UK’s second biggest tour operator with just over 3.9m passengers on its ATOL licence, behind TUI with 5.5m passengers and well ahead of third placed On the Beach with 1.6m passengers. Jet2.com’s fleet of Boeing 737 and larger 757aircraft expanded to 100 for summer 2019, making it the UK’s 3rd largest airline but still well behind British Airways and Easyjet.
