SIMEC Atlantis: shares rebound on reassurance Shares in SIMEC Atlantis Energy (LON:SAE), the global sustainable energy generation company, which has been unwittingly sucked into the travails of Sanjeev Gupta’s GFG Alliance, rebounded on some reassuring news. Atlantis reported in May that receivers had been appointed over the shares of its 41% shareholder, SIMEC UK Energy Holdings Limited, which is a member of Sanjeev Gupta’s GFG Alliance. GFG Alliance has now confirmed to Atlantis that the receiver's appointment has ceased with the GFG Alliance once again “in control” of the Atlantis shares.
