At the end of May 2021 there were 822 companies on AIM, with the total market value of London's growth market £145.5 billion. This compares to 821 companies at the end of April 2021, when AIM’s market value was £147.8 billion. There were 5 genuine new arrivals in the month, and four departures. The AIM index as a whole fell 2.22% in May, representing a rare under performance of the UK index of 100 largest main market companies, which rose 0.75%.
