Another day and yet more excellent results from AIM quoted companies. This time it’s the turn of the highly rated surgical and advanced woundcare company, who announced interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2015.
AMS is a world-leading independent developer and manufacturer of innovative and technologically advanced products for the global surgical, wound care and wound closure markets. AMS has a wide range of products that include silver alginates, alginates, foams, tissue adhesives, sutures and haemostats, which it markets under its brands ActivHeal®, LiquiBand® and RESORBA® as well as supplying under white label. Overall, revenue increased 11% to £32.7m, representing growth of 14% at constant currency and adjusted profit before tax increased 13% to £8.2m; operating margins of 25% hint at the protective moat.
