Animalcare: underwhelming, but…. Animalcare (AIM: ANCR), the international animal health business, underwhelmed to a degree with its interim results, although comparisons were tough. Revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2022 fell 2.1% to £38.3m, however this was against exceptional levels of demand in the first half of the comparable period in 2021 as the lifting of COVID-19 counter measures released pent-up demand, particularly in their largest Companion Animals segment where revenues declined 2.7% to £26.6m (69% of the total).
